ISLAMABAD:
The newly established Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has issued its first cause list, formally kicking off the judicial proceedings under the newly-created apex judicial forum.
Three benches of the FCC will begin hearing cases this week. Chief Justice FCC Justice Aminuddin Khan is set to start hearing cases from Monday (today), while Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi will also commence proceedings.
A separate two-member bench comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice KK Agha will likewise begin hearing cases from today. It is worth noting that on Friday, CJ Aminuddin Khan issued his first major administrative order by appointing key officials to the court.
