Govt mulls ferry service for pilgrims

ISLAMABAD:

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf on Thursday said the government was taking steps to improve land and sea routes for pilgrims, mulling to introduce new system of ferry service for pilgrims.

Addressing the International Ulema and Mashaikh Conference, the minister described Milad and Seerat gatherings as vital platforms for promoting harmony and unity among the Muslim Ummah.

Emphasizing mutual respect despite differences of opinion, the minister highlighted the pivotal role of religious scholars in fostering peace and national cohesion.
