Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that tolerance is the greatest strength of humanity. In his message on International Day for Tolerance on Sunday, he said that peace, tolerance and harmony were the identity of the land of Sindh.
Valuing different cultures is the true essence of harmony, the chief minister said adding that the blend of diverse ideologies and cultures was the beauty of Pakistan. Societies weaken due to hatred and intolerance. He further said that tolerance of differing opinions is the foundation of a peaceful society. Respecting others’ thoughts and ways of life is the path to progress. The chief minister said that fostering the feelings of tolerance and respect is the need of the hour.
Meanwhile, Governor Kamran Khan Tessori on Sunday said that a society based on tolerance and respect was the guarantee of a peaceful and stable state.
In his message on International Day for Tolerance, he said, “to eliminate intolerance, strengthening law, education, and awareness is indispensable.” He said that Sindh’s identity was harmony, brotherhood and respect for diverse cultures.
