Pakistani actor Dananeer Mobeen, who has built a strong social media following with her acting skills and bubbly persona, was recently spotted in London promoting her upcoming film Mera Lyari. The sports film, set in Lyari, Karachi, aims to present a more grounded and authentic portrayal of the neighbourhood while highlighting local talent.
While promoting the film, Dananeer was seen out and about in Notting Hill wearing a grey tweed co-ord set, featuring a cropped jacket and matching mini skirt, paired with sheer tights. The look quickly drew attention online, sparking a mix of support and criticism from social media users.
Some fans came to her defence, praising her for carrying the outfit with confidence and ease. Others, however, criticised the styling, saying it did not suit her.

Mera Lyari is set for nationwide release on May 8, 2026. The film stars Ayesha Omar, Dananeer Mobeen, and Trinette Lucas in lead roles, alongside Sammiya Mumtaz, Nayyar Ejaz, Paras Masroor, and Adnan Shah Tipu. It is written and directed by Ali Sajjad Shah and produced by Ayesha Omar, Waqas Hassan Rizvi, and Sania Sohail.
