The couple posted a photograph featuring their daughter Dua holding a pregnancy test kit that showed a positive result. The caption of the post carried only evil eye emojis, keeping the announcement minimal.
The post was soon met with widespread reactions on social media, with fans and well-wishers extending congratulatory messages to the couple.
Deepika and Ranveer, widely regarded among Bollywood’s most popular on-screen and off-screen pairs, tied the knot in November 2018 in a grand ceremony. Since then, they have frequently remained in the public eye for their appearances and mutual displays of affection.
In 2022, speculation had circulated about their separation after four years of marriage; however, the rumours subsided the following year when Deepika confirmed her pregnancy and the arrival of their first child. The couple welcomed their first child, Dua, in September 2024.
